Wetaskiwin Arts & Music Festival

Countdown to The 2024 Festival

JULY 20, 2024 is the date for the next annual festival

We have many new ideas for next year already! Please stay tuned in here and on our social media pages for regular updates.
You can, and should be, a part of this amazing community festival.
Not only is it a local event that celebrates the talents of our artists and musicians, but we are also including those from surrounding areas. How can we not share what's good for the mind, body and soul?

The Wetaskiwin Arts & Music Festival was founded in 2017 and started as an idea to bring all the arts and music lovers together in one place; a place to showcase all the talent that can be found in and around Wetaskiwin and Central Alberta.

The past festivals have proven to be better than we ever imagined (not including Covid 2020). The response from the local community and the artists and musicians involved has been immense. There are several food vendors on site, so no need to pack a lunch as there is always a wide variety of food to satisfy everyone’s tastes.

We include many different types of artists ranging from oil, water and acrylic paintings to sculptures, photographers, woodworkers, crafters, quilters, fibre artists and many more incredible genres. In addition, there have been many incredible demonstrations on site, such as Karate, Tae-Kwon-Do, Yoga, Kiln Firing, Piano students, Jugglers, kids art and many more. There is always something awesome happening.

FREE - This is a free family event (no alcohol) to the public and as a Non-profit Society, we are working hard to garner the funds to help make this festival even more EPIC than previous years. We hold our AGM in late November and our Board of Directors will probably change a little, so now we need more members to ensure this festival continues for many years to come. We invite everyone to submit a membership form along with your $25.00/yr membership fee and your ideas to help us make our community-minded festival grow. You can also help out and get involved by becoming a VOLUNTEER.

If you would simply like to donate, please click here or in person at Dalcon Visual Arts, or use Messenger on Facebook to get this party started. Receipts will be issued for each registration and donation.

Become a WAMF Society Member and quickly make your payment here.

We have been keeping ourselves as much in the light of the city as we can, and we would love to have more exposure, so please join us. We want you, and we want to hear your VOICE! Please invite others and help us grow this event to what we all dream it will become; Yours, Ours and Epic!

Please check back often for more details and information as time goes by. We meet monthly and fine-tune everything as we go.
